HUGO BOSS: 3 Colours, 3 Wearing Occasions

In 2018, we saw the introduction of Hugo Boss’ new wearing occasions – BOSS Business, BOSS Athleisure & BOSS Casual. However, you may be thinking, where have BOSS Black, BOSS Green and BOSS Orange gone? Never fear, all your favourite clothing from BOSS still remains the same; it’s just the names that have changed!

BOSS Black → BOSS Business

BOSS Business is the wearing occasion that is best known for it’s smarter staples and formal wear pieces. Designed for the working man in mind, BOSS Business‘ sharp tailoring comes to life with a wide range of clothing including: the Jesse Shirt – simple tailoring to wear with your business suit, the Pallas Polo Shirt – the ultimate smart casual basic which looks sharp worn underneath jacket & trousers – perfect for pairing with a blazer and finish with a leather belt.

BOSS Green → BOSS Athleisure

Athleisure has become one of the biggest fashion trends in menswear and BOSS has taken this to a whole new level. BOSS Athleisure styles are designed with comfort and sport style with practicality in mind and are perfect for balancing your athletic wear and your everyday sports style. Crafted in hi-tech and durable fabrics, favourite styles include the Paddy Polo Shirt – often tipped in contrasting colours on the collars and cuffs and the Saggy hoodie – a versatile hoodie with a a full zip up fastening and prominent BOSS branding. Team it with a pair of Hadiko joggers.

BOSS Orange → BOSS Casual

BOSS Casual has, the name suggests, a strong focus on casual wear. Styles are cut from high-quality fabrics and the range includes bold graphics and contemporary designs; which you can rely on for weekend dressing. Popular casual styles include the Tales t-shirt – plain with a subtle chest patch logo; also featured on the Passenger polo shirt. This casual range offers a range of coats & jackets including leathers and bombers as well as recurring styles of sweatshirts such as the Wyan sweatshirt.

So how do you tell which is which?

First and foremost you can tell by the clothing label on the inside of the garment. If the label is plain black it is BOSS Business, if the label as a green accent stripe it is BOSS Athleisure and an orange stripe denotes BOSS Casual.

Repertoire Fashion have made it easy for you to find your favourite BOSS styles for each wearing occasion; without having to zoom in on a picture! Once you land on BOSS, you will see a ‘Wearing Occasion’ filter. Select your occasion and we’ll show you the styles.
