The Sunspel company has a long history of manufacturing lightweight cotton garments. Founded in the late 1800's by Thomas A Hill in Nottingham, England, the Sunspel brand grew in the 20th century exporting its cotton clothing, namely undergarments, across the globe. By 1918 Sunspel had developed its unique sea island cotton fabric which was sourced in the West Indies and offered a smooth, cool, cotton fabric. With its soft luxurious handle, sea island cotton is used to this day by Sunspel in the production of it's Mens polo shirts and t-shirts.
The development of luxury quality fabrics has always been a priority for Sunspel including development of a lightweight breathable mesh cotton fabric from which its famous Riviera polo shirts are made. Pique cottons have been used to manufacture a variety of fabrics used by Sunspel and soft wool yarns for their range of merino wool knitwear.
Repertoire offers high quality Sunspel Men's clothing suitable for everyday dressing ranging from t-shirts and polo shirts to luxury wool jumpers and knitwear.
