Grenson Shoes have been creating footwear since 1866. Grenson stands for Green and Son which the label soon developed into. The "Greens Yard" factory was pioneering, as the first to use Goodyear welt construction for making men's shoes.
Since 1895, Grenson have been manufacturing footwear for men out of a Northampton factory on Queen Street right up until the present day. 1913 Grenson brand was registered, one of the first brands to ever become registered in the UK.
