TERRACE STYLE IN THE 70’S
The 70s saw Liverpool win the First Division five times, leading many fans to travel abroad to watch their away games. These trips also involved violence and looting, with European designer clothing being brought back and sold on.
In turn, Liverpool fans were often found wearing designer labels such as Lacoste, distinguishing themselves from skin heads and fans in club colours – something which meant that they avoided police discrimination on the pitch.
